Women's Golf competes at the Lourdes Invitational

(Ottawa Lake, MI) - The Women's Concordia Cardinals Golf team headed to Ottawa Lake, Michigan for the Lourdes Fall Invitational. The Cardinals would finish today's round with a 377 total score, which is the third-lowest round in program history. 

 

Taking home both the top individual spot and team championship was Lawrence Tech as they would win the individual title with a 75 and the team championship with a 325. 

 

INDIVIDUAL RECAP

Five Cardinals competed at the event for CUAA. Taking the top spot on the team was Rachel Yuhas as she tied for 22nd on the day with her score of 90. Next up was Callie Wabeke who recorded a 93 and finished in a tie for 30th place. Amelia Blakc and Rachel Costello would both finish with a 97. The final golfer for the team was Elle Fritcha who shot a 109.

The Cardinals will have an 11-day break before they host the Cardinal Classic on September 18 and 19 at the Washtenaw Golf Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
