Women's Golf competes at the LTU Spring Break Invitational to open Spring season

(Opelika, AL) - The Concordia Cardinals Women's Golf team completed the LTU Spring Break Invitational this week at RTJ Golf Trail at Gran National Golf Course in Alabama. The event featured two rounds over two days.

 

The Cardinals as a team finished in 10th place after shooting a score of 796. The total score of 796 is the fourth-lowest in program history for a two-day event, while 395 on the second day of competition is tied for the ninth-lowest. 

 

CUAA RECAP

Rachel Yuhas and Callie Wabeke topped the Cardinals with the same score of 194. They scored lows of 95 and 93 respectively. Amelia Black was next for the Cardinals finishing two strokes back with a score of 196 and a low of 97. The final golfer for the Cardinals was Elle Fritcha with a 212 score and a 104 low.

 

TOURNAMENT RECAP

Loyola (LA) took home the team's top spot after finishing with a score of 612, which was 36 strokes better than the second place. 

 

Peyton Maraman from Shelton State CC was the top individual golfer this week finishing with a score of 147.
