Women's Golf Finishes 10th at Lourdes Spring Invitational

(Ottawa Lake, MI) - The Concordia Cardinals Women's Golf team took part in the Lourdes Spring Invitational on Wednesday at the Legacy Golf Course in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. 

 

The Cardinals finished the tournament in 10th place as they shot a team score of 388, which is the seventh-lowest in program history. 

 

CUAA RECAP

Callie Wabeke took home the top spot for the Cardinals, placing 25th with a score of 90. Amelia Black and Rachel Yuhas were tied on the day after each golfer shot a 99 on the day. The final golfer was Rachel Costello who scored a 100. 

 

TOURNAMENT RECAP

Primross Chikwaya from Northwestern Ohio took home the top individual spot at the tournament after shooting a 68 on the day, which was a -4 on the course. 

 

Lawrence Tech took home the top team spot after shooting a team score of 313, which was five strokes better than second-place Northwestern Ohio. 

 

NEXT UP

The Cardinals will head back to the course for the Steven Tyler Memorial Tournament on Monday, April 15 in Portage, Michigan.
