Women's Golf places 7th at the LTU Fall Invite

(Farmington Hills, MI) - After 10 days off of competition the Women's Concordia Cardinals Golf team headed to Farmington Hills, Michigan for their latest match as they would compete on Friday at the LTU Fall Invite. 

 

The team would finish the tournament in seventh place with a total score of 381. The 381 is the fifth-lowest team score in program history. 

 

INDIVIDUAL RECAP

Four Cardinals competed at the event as the team was led by Callie Wabeke with a 90. Three Cardinals would finish with scores in a row with Rachel Yuhas, Amelia Black, and Elle Fritcha with a 96, 97, and 98 respectively. 

 

TOURNAMENT RECAP

The team low for the day came from Lawrence Tech as they finished with a 312. 

 

Julia Lefere from Lawrence Tech finished the day with the lowest score as she shot a 72 on the day. 

 

NEXT UP

The Cardinals will travel to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Preview on Monday and Tuesday, which will be held at the Stonehedge North Golf Course in Augusta, Michigan.
