(Ann Arbor, MI) – Concordia football is looking to remain undefeated this week with another home contest against Taylor University.  The Cardinals stayed at #5 in the national rankings after a 20-10 homecoming victory over Siena Heights.  Taylor fell to 1-4 after a 31-3 loss at Lawrence Tech this past weekend.  The all-time series is even 5-5 with Concordia winning the last 5 games.

Hunter Maynard repeated for the second week in a row as MSFA Mideast and NCCAA Defensive Player of the Week.  The senior linebacker recorded a career high 17 total tackles (4.5 TFL) along with another personal best 3 sacks in the team's 20-10 win over Siena Heights on homecoming.

Concordia stayed at #5 in the latest edition of the national poll.  Indiana Wesleyan improved to #10 after upsetting Marian, who fell 8 spots to #14.  MSFA Midwest member Olivet Nazarene moved up a spot to #12 while Saint Xavier fell 5 spots to #23.
