Women's Bowling takes home Second Place at WHAC Jamboree #2

(Allen Park, MI) - The Concordia Cardinals Women's Bowling team head to Allen Park for the second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamboree of the season as they would see themselves fight to a second place finish before the baker games were played and would still end the tournament in second place. 

 

CARDINALS RESULTS

The Cardinals top finisher would see Gabriella Van Horn come away with the tournament title as she finished with a 4-game total of 748 pins while averaging a 187. Shannon Gieger would come back with a solid fourth game in order to give herself a top-10 finish with 699 total pins knocked down. The third top bowler for the Cards was Emilee Hughes finishing just behind Arielle Oakley with 781 pins. 

 

The fourth bowler for CUAA would be Isabell Cooley with a 656, while Alyvia Hock finished with 616 total pins. 

 

JV CARDINALS

Arielle Oakley would see the top finish for the JV Cardinals as she would end up in 17th place and 681 pins. Bailey Tomlin and Kara Ward would be the next two finishers for the Cardinals with 647 and 643 pins knocked down. 

 

The final two bowlers would see Emily Morris and Ashley Kreger finish by knocking over 587 pins and 577 pins. 

 

JAMBOREE TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL WINNER

Gabriella Van Horn would come away with the first place finish by knocking down 748 pins overall. Indiana Tech would come away with the overall tournament win following the baker games after knocking down a total of 6377, which was 302 pins better than the Cardinals.
