(South Bend, IN) Concordia Women's Tennis opened up their spring season with a match at Saint Mary's Saturday evening. The Belles came out strong and swept the Cardinals 9-0 in the match. Saint Mary's won all the doubles matches 8-0, and only lost one game in singles.
Elle Fritcha and Hollie Johnson played #1 doubles for the Cardinals. Fritcha played in #1 singles and was able to take a game away from her opponent. Johnson played #2 Singles for Concordia.
Payton Woodruff and Amelia Black played in #2 doubles as well as #4 and #6 singles respectively. Jadyn Hackmann and Jorja Vartoogian competed in #3 doubles for the Cards along with #3 and # 5 singles.
The Cardinals will next be in action on Saturday, February 18th with a match at UNOH. The match is slated to begin at 4:30 in Lima, Ohio.
