Fritcha picks up WHAC Player of the Week honors

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced their Player of the Week honors for Women's Tennis and Concordia Cardinals Elle Fritcha earned honors as the team went 1-2 on the week. 

 

Fritcha, a junior from Fort Wayne, Indiana, went 3-3 on the week as she played in the top singles and doubles spot in all three matches. Against Grace Christian, Fritcha went 2-0 as she picked up the singles win 6-1 and 6-1 while taking the doubles match with Hollie Johnson 8-5. Against Anderson University she recorded a win in her singles match winning 6-4 and 6-2. 

 

This is the first WHAC Player of the Week honor in program history.

 

The Cardinals will be back in action on April 14, as they will travel to Franklin College with the match beginning at 2 PM
