Women's Tennis drops match to Aquinas

(Ann Arbor, MI) Concordia Women's Tennis competed in another WHAC matchup as they hosted Aquinas at the Liberty Athletic Club Friday evening. The Saints defeated the Cardinals 5-2 in the match.

 

Aquinas won the doubles point, winning 6-1 over Elle Fritcha and Jadyn Hackmann in #1 Doubles, and winning 6-2 over Payton Woodruff and Amelia Black in #2 Doubles.

 

In singles action, Elle Fritcha took a pair of games in #1 Singles, while Jadyn Hackmann took a game in #2 Singles. The Saints swept the #3 Singles match over Payton Woodruff, while Sydney Orkisz took four games in the #4 slot. Melanie Foucha and Jorja Vartoogian won the Cardinals' points by default in #5 and #6 Singles.  

 

The Cardinals will be at the Olivet Singles Invitational on Saturday before the WHAC Tournament next week on Friday, April 28th.
