CSC ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT: Baseball has 5 selected to College Sport Communicators Academic All-District list

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The College Sport Communicators (CSC) released their 2025 Baseball Academic All-District winners on Tuesday afternoon and several Concordia Cardinals were given honors.  

 

Trey Acker is a junior from Eaton Rapids, Michigan and is a Business Marketing major and has recorded a GPA of 3.80. 

 

Derek Hebner, a senior from Harbor Springs, Michigan and has a cumulative GPA of 3.65 while studying Physical Education.  

 

Justin Kozlowski is a Finance major and has a GPA of 3.96 and is a senior from Macomb, Michigan. 

 

Tyler Lawson is from Escanaba, Michigan and is a senior Business major and has tallied a 3.83 cumulative GPA. 

 

Harrison Ryan is a graduate student from Macomb, Michigan and is an Business major and has recorded a 3.97 GPA. 

 

The 2025 Academic All-District Baseball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes Softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

 

College Sport Communicators is a 3,200+ member national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. The organization was previously known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and was changed to its new name in August of 2022.

 

Nominees for the All-District team must have participated in at least 90% of the team's matches or start at least 66% throughout the season while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.50. The student-athlete must reach sophomore athletic eligibility to qualify for the honor.

 

The five Cardinals will now be placed on the ballot for CSC All-America consideration with those teams being released on July 1st.
