(Ypsilanti, MI) - The Concordia Cheer team rounded out their season on the final day of the NAIA National Championships. The Cardinals came into Saturday in fifth place following the preliminary round, and added over three points to their final-round performance, springing them into fourth place. Concordia finished the competition with a total score of 91.73, as they were one of five teams to hit that 90+ mark.

Concordia recorded a 92.48 in their final performance, as they improved in multiple categories for the final round. Particularly, the Cards went up half a point in both Partner/Group Stunts as well as the Pyramids stunts. The Cardinals would also improve by nearly a point in the Showmanship/General Impression category in the final round.

"Who did, God did!" said Head Coach Kate Edge. "It just sums up our journey. Very proud of this team and both performances they gave."

Taking home their second straight title was Saint Ambrose with a score of 97.28, followed by Xavier with a score of 96.91, and then Oklahoma City at 95.91.

The Cardinals served as the host of the championship in 2024 in partnership with the Ann Arbor Sports Commission at the EMU George Gervin GameAbove Center.
