(Ann Arbor, MI) - Concordia football will be preparing this week to host rival Siena Heights.  The Cardinals will look to build off a two-game winning streak which included dominating Madonna University 67-6 at their last game. Siena Heights enters the contest 2-5 overall on the year.

Siena Heights enters the contest 2-5 overall.  The Saints' wins came over Defiance College and Lawrence Tech.  Head Coach Matt Kohn enters his seventh season at the helm of the program. 

NAIA COACHES POLL

Indiana Wesleyan represents the MSFA Mideast staying at the #3 ranking.  In the Midwest, Marian fell one spot to #18 while St. Francis (IL) moved into the rankings at #23. 

PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

Davion Coats earned Defensive Player of the Week honors at both the MSFA and NCCAA levels.  The freshman defensive back had a blocked field goal return for a touchdown along with a "pick-6" in the team's 67-6 win over Madonna.  Coats added four tackles and a pass breakup. 

Caiden Thomas earned MSFA  Special Teams Player of the Week.  The sophomore kicker drilled field goals of 23 and 35 yards in the win over Madonna.  Thomas also went a perfect 6-6 on PATs.
