PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS
Davion Coats earned Defensive Player of the Week honors at both the MSFA and NCCAA levels. The freshman defensive back had a blocked field goal return for a touchdown along with a "pick-6" in the team's 67-6 win over Madonna. Coats added four tackles and a pass breakup.
Caiden Thomas earned MSFA Special Teams Player of the Week. The sophomore kicker drilled field goals of 23 and 35 yards in the win over Madonna. Thomas also went a perfect 6-6 on PATs.
