Indiana Tech began the game on a 13-0 run, holding the Cardinals scoreless through the first 6 minutes of the game. Jerald Booker (SR/Southfield, MI) ended the scoring drought with a quick drive to the basket, but the Warriors continued to maintain a double-digit lead.

A step-back triple from Booker kept Concordia's offense going, but Indiana Tech took their largest lead of the game with a 31-11 advantage at the 6:33 mark. The Cardinals answered with a 7-0 run, capped off by a 3-pointer from Thomas Hronis.

Concordia continued to claw back in the game off three straight triples from Hronis, pulling within 6 points at the 2:41 mark with just a 35-29 deficit. Emmanuel Dominguez (SR/Groveland, FL) and Paul Zysk added baskets in the final minutes and CUAA trailed 40-33 at halftime.

Greg Alexander (SR/Middle River, MD) converted an old-fashioned three-point play and added a layup at the 4:08 mark to make the score 70-62. Jordan Winowiecki made a fast break layup and Greg Alexander drained a pair of free throws as Concordia continued to attempt a comeback. However, Indiana Tech was able to consistently maintain their lead and the Cardinals fell by a final score of 85-75.
