Men's Bowling competes at Hoosier Classic

(Indianapolis, IN) - The men's bowling team participated in the Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana, this past weekend. The Cardinals finished in 19th place out of the 33 teams that participated. The tournament allowed each bowler to compete in five games.

 

Korey Reichard led the way for the Cardinals with his 45th place finishing score of 945. Reichard's best game, came in his third when he totaled 212 pins. Glen Rose knocked down a total of 937 pins for a 53rd place finish. Rose had his best score (223) in his second game of the event. Kyle Lewis had Concordia's third best finish at 78th with an 895 total and 214 in game four. Brenden Gossman was not far behind with 891 pins on the day and a team high 231 in game four.

 

Patrick Good bowled in three games for the Cardinals with his total of 475. Jayce Sauve and David Smalls each bowled a game for Concordia, tallying 149 and 144 pins respectively.

 

Emmanuel College earned the top spot on the podium at the Hoosier Classic with their total of 4,997. However, the it was St. Ambrose's Nathan Stubler with the top honors on the individual side of the tournament with his total of 1,111.

 

The Cardinals will return to action Saturday, February 27th, at the WHAC Bowling Championship.
