Men's bowling takes second place at American Heartland Bowling Association event

 (Toledo, OH) The men's bowling team participated in the second American Heartland Bowling Association on tournament in as many weeks.  The Cardinals placed second overall coming up short to Lawrence Technological University for the second consecutive week. The Cardinals totaled 6383 total pins with LTU recording 6383.

Brenden Gossman continued his hot streak for the Cardinals with another strong finish. After taking second place last week, Gossman recorded another top-10 finish taking seventh place overall. Gossman totaled 692 through three games for an average of 230.7. Gossman's  third game was his best with a high of 234.

Korey Reichard and Glenn Rose continue their strong season as well finishing 12th and 13th overall respectively. Reichard posted a 662 total with Rose closely behind recording a 218. Reichard bowled strong from the start with a 245 in the first game. Rose recorded a team high 248 in the first game. Kyle Lewis was solid for the Cardinals with a 196 average.

Patrick Good (216), Jayce Suave (174), and David Smalls (148) rounded out the Cardinals scoring.

The Cardinals will now being post-season competition as they will participate in the Intercollegiate singles and team championships. The events will be in April and hosted by the United States Bowling Contets (USBC). Additional information regarding the Cardinals location and event details will be released when announced.
