Men's bowling conclude season at Intercollegiate Singles and Team competition

Dayton, OH - The men's bowling team continued their postseason competition at the Intercollegiate Singles and Team Sectional qualifier. The Cardinals were assigned to the Dayton sectional featuring several national ranked teams in the field. The championship event featured singles competition on Friday followed by team competition on Saturday and Sunday.

Patrick Good placed 25 in the singles qualifier lead the Cardinals with a six game total of 1149. Closely behind Good was recently named NAIA all-american Korey Reichard. The sophomore standout recorded a six game total of 1143. Brenden Gossman (1108), Kyle Lewis (1075), David Smalls (962), Glenn Rose (944), Jayce Suave (987) rounded out the Cardinals scoring. The Cardinals did not have any qualify for nationals as the top 6 from each sectional advance.

In the team competition, the Cardinals put forth their best effort looking to punch their ticket to nationals. The Cardinals finished 10th overall in the competitive field. The team qualifier featured 10 four game Baker sets for a total of 40 Baker games.

University of Pikeville took first place team honors in the Cardinals Dayton sectional. Madonna and Lawrence Tech were in the sectional placing third and seventh respectively.
