Men's Golf finishes fourth at the Steven Tyler Memorial

(Portage, MI) - Concordia Men's Golf hit the links yesterday at the Steven Tyler Memorial held at Moors Golf Course in Portage, Michigan. The Cardinals finished the 1-round tournament in 4th place.

 

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

Neil Heinlein finished the tournament in a tie for third place, after scoring a 77 on the day. The next two golfers were Andrew Sweitzer and Zakary Schroeder who scored an 81 and 83 respectively which was good for a 10th and 14th place finish respectively. Gibson Wilke and Cam Barrett rounded out the team score as they each recorded an 86. 

 

Brady Baldwin competed at the event as an individual, scoring a 97. 

 

TOURNAMENT RECAP

The team champion was Davenport after shooting a score of 309, which was six shots better than second-place Lourdes. 

 

The top individual score would also come from Davenport as Gunner Schuster won the event with a 72.

CUAA is back tomorrow, April 17 with a dual match against Cleary, with the match beginning at 9 AM at Mystic Creek Golf Course in Milford, Michigan.
