Men's Golf falls to Cleary in Dual Match

(Milford, MI) - The Concordia Cardinal's Men's Golf team took on the Cleary Cougars in a dual match before heading to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Championship this upcoming weekend.

 

The Cardinals battled but would ultimately fall 29.5-23.5.

 

MATCHPLAY RESULTS

Neil Heinlein and Cam Barrett were the first to go for the Cardinals taking on a pair of Cougars in the best ball match-play style. The two pairs battled their way to a tie at 8.5 points apiece. 

 

Next up was Zakary Schroeder and Gibson Wilke as they would fall in their match 11-7.

 

The final pair saw Andrew Sweitzer and Brady Baldwin fell in a close match 10-8. 

 

NEXT UP

The Cardinals will now head to the WHAC Championships for 54 holes of play on Friday, April 19 (36 holes) and Saturday, April 20 (18 holes) at Stoatin Brae Golf Course in Augusta, Michigan.
