PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Men's Soccer's Lock named WHAC and NCCAA Defensive Player of the Week

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) and the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced their weekly players of the week and Concordia Cardinal's Men's Soccer defender Evan Lock was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Lock, a sophomore from Racine, Wisconsin, scored a brace in his sole game of the week against St. Francis (IN). In addition, he tallied a defensive save while helping force six offsides calls against the Cougar's offense. Lock's second goal came off a corner kick, which would also wind up being the game-winning goal.

Lock and the Cardinals will be back in action on Saturday, August 31 when they travel to Kalamazoo for a 6 PM kickoff.
