Men's Soccer tops Rochester Christian, 3-1

(Ann Arbor, MI) - Concordia men's soccer hosted Rochester Christian on Saturday afternoon for a WHAC matchup.  The Cardinals picked up their second WHAC win of the year with a 3-1 victory. 

 

Dario Cela played a complete game in the net with one save.  The Cardinals converted just 42 seconds into the game when Lucas Anderson scored off an assist from Bryce Schaner.  Rochester Christian tied the game with a marker on the 36th minute.  The contest was tied 1-1 at halftime.

 

CUAA retook the lead in the 69th minute when Bryce Schaner found the back of the net with Carter Kerbawy assisting.  The Cardinals extended their lead in the 79th minute on an assisted goal by Nicholas Kiafoulis.  Concordia outshot the Warriors 22-8 overall and the team secured the 3-1 victory as time expired.

 

Concordia will host Lourdes this Wednesday, October 16th, at 3pm
