(Ann Arbor, MI) - Concordia men's soccer hosted Grace Christian on Wednesday afternoon to continue their season. The Cardinals held the Tigers to no shots on goal and cruised to a 3-0 win.
Kyri Wixom played the complete game in goal. The Cardinals struck first just two minutes into the game when Elijah Macke scored off an assist from Carter Kerbawy. The Cardinals stayed on the attack with shots on goal by Robert Klinger and Clemens Gehlich. CUAA led 1-0 at halftime.
To open the second half, Bryce Schaner curled a shot just wide of the net. The Cardinals converted again in the 71stminute when Angel Elizondo blasted a shot in the goal with Bryce Schaner assisting. Schaner extended the lead with a penalty kick goal in the 82nd minute. The CUAA defense secured the clean sheet for a 3-0 win as time expired.
Concordia will travel to Indiana East this Saturday, September 7th, for a 1pm game.
