Colleen Redding signs to 2019-20 Volleyball Recruiting Class

(Ann Arbor, MI) Head Coach Danielle Cook and the Concordia University volleyball team have announced the addition of Colleen Redding from Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Colleen will join Concordia from Iron Mountain High School where she played under direction of Jeanne Newberry. Redding played front row and setter for Iron Mountain and led the Mountaineers on their way to becoming two time conference champions with a third year tied for the conference title. "Colleen has overcome many obstacles in her journey to college" said high school coach Jeanne Newberry. "I am excited to see what her future holds."

Colleen is the daughter of Mike and Chris Redding and has three siblings; Kyle, Gage, and Patrick. She plans to study nursing while attending Concordia as well as playing for the women's hockey team. "I am very excited to continue my volleyball and hockey career at Concordia," said Colleen.

"We are excited for Colleen to join both the volleyball and hockey programs here at Concordia," said Head Coach Danielle Cook. "She shows determination and brings a competitive spirit to the court. We are looking forward to seeing Colleen grow and develop as a player and young lady."
