Volleyball signs Tara Drinane to 2020 class

(Ann Arbor, MI) Head Coach Danielle Cook and the Concordia University volleyball team have announced the addition of Tara Drinane from Riverview, Michigan.

Tara will join Concordia from Riverview Community High School where she played under the direction of Stephanie Ouelette. Drinane played as an outside hitter for the Pirates where she was 1st Team All-League and named her team MVP. Ouelette said she was privileged to coach Drinane for four years on varsity. "Tara has been a leader for us on and off the court. She communicates well with her teammates and is a born leader. Tara is an awesome player who I know will succeed to new heights."

Tara is the daughter of Nicki and Dan Drinane and has one sister, Lauren who currently attends Concordia. She plans to study Sport and Entertainment Business while attending Concordia. Nicki and Dan are excited to watch Tara continue to play at the next level. "We're thrilled to watch her grow athletically, spiritually, and academically as a Cardinal."

"We are excited for Tara to be a Cardinal volleyball player," said Head Coach Danielle Cook. "Tara is athletic and will be a great addition to the team as she swings confidently on both pins. We look forward to seeing Tara grow as a player and young woman."
