(Ann Arbor, MI) Head Coach Danielle Cook and the Concordia University volleyball team have announced the addition of Andrea Nelson from Burr Oak, Michigan.
Andrea will join Concordia from Burr Oak High School where she played under the direction of Kristina Owens. Nelson played as a defensive specialist and libero for Burr Oak where she was 2nd Team SCAA West Division and named her team MVP.
Andrea is the daughter of Jeremy and Stephenie Nelson and has three siblings. She plans to study nursing while attending Concordia.
"We are excited for Andrea to be a Cardinal volleyball player," said Head Coach Danielle Cook. "Andrea has a positive, energetic attitude that allows her to be a great teammate on and off the court. We look forward to seeing Andrea grow as a player and young woman."
