Volleyball's Peters named to CoSIDA Academic All-District team

(Ann Arbor, MI) The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) has named their 2021 CoSIDA All-District team for Volleyball on Thursday afternoon and Concordia's Kayla Peters was one of the Honorees for District 1, which includes 22 states. 

 

Peters was named to the team after leading the Cardinals in kills with 411 throughout the season. Additionally, Peters recorded 372 digs, which was third best on the season. Peters is studying Human Resource & Strategic Leadership and has a cumulative GPA of 3.97.

 

Nominees for the All-District team must have participated in at least 50% of the teams matches throughout the season while also maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.30. The student-athlete must also complete one full calendar year at the institution and reach sophomore athletic eligibility in order to qualify for the honor.

 

Peters will now be placed on the ballot for CoSIDA All-America consideration with those teams being released in mid-December.
