(Ann Arbor, MI) Head Coach Danielle Cook and the Concordia University volleyball team have announced the addition of Ella Lucas from Trenton, Michigan.
Ella will join Concordia from Trenton High School where she played for coaches Nikki Douglas and Jill Romaine. While at Trenton, Lucas was as a libero and defensive specialist and also played club volleyball for Passion under the direction of Chris Bozman. Bozman said that Ella had some "wonderful things ahead for her".
Ella is the daughter of Monica Lucas-Hankins, Ken Lucas, and John Hankins and has one brother, Kyle. Monica emphasized that Ella should "believe in yourself".
"We are excited for Ella to join the CUAA volleyball family," said head coach Danielle Cook. "Ella is a hard-working athlete and as a defensive player is always giving effort to continue the play. We look forward to seeing Ella grow as a player and young woman these next four years!"
