(Ann Arbor, MI) - The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced on Monday afternoon the Football Player of the Week awards and Concordia Cardinals David Cagle took home this week's honor for Defensive Player of the Week.
Cagle, a junior from Allen Park, Michigan, was solid on the Cardinal's defensive line posting three sacks in the game. Additionally, he recorded six total tackles and recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter of the game against Marian.
This is the second time in Cagle's career that he has earned Player of the Week honors from the NCCAA as he won once last season as well.
The Cardinals will be back on the field on Saturday, October 21 as they will celebrate Homecoming with their game against Siena Heights. The game will kick off at 1 PM.
