Men's Bowling takes 5th at AHBA

(Canton, MI) The Men's Bowling team competed this Saturday at the Super Bowl in Canton, Michigan for the American Heartland Bowling Association tournament. Concordia took 5th in the tournament as a team with 7,209 total pins and had two bowlers land in the top thirty.

 

 

Brenden Gossman landed in 16th place on the day with an average of 197.4 pins over his five games bowled. The Junior had a high game of 234 in his fourth game. Korey Reichard took 28th place with an average of 188.8 pins throughout five games. Reichard bowled the team's second highest score of 245 in his final game of the event.

 

Four Cardinals bowled three games at the event led by Alexander Bumpus who averaged 203.67 pins. Bumpus scored the Cardinals' highest game of the day with a 248 in game 3. Patrick Good Jr., Kyle Lewis, and Izaac Georgen also all played three games averaging 201.33, 189.33, and 181 pins respectively.

 

Nicholas Clauson and Andrew Johnson rounded out the Cardinals' efforts with averages of 184.5 and 158.

 

 

Next up for the Cardinals will be the second WHAC Jamboree on Saturday November 6th,  at the Jax 60 Bowl in Jackson, Michigan.
