Men's Bowling finishes in 5th at Collegiate Shoot Out

(Las Vegas, NV) - The Concordia University men's bowling team competed in their second event in Las Vegas this week as this time they participated in the 34th Annual Collegiate ShootOut. The men's team finished in fifth place out of 42 teams. 

 

Brenden Gossman was the top finisher for the Cardinals as he ended in sixth place as he ended with 1352 total pins while being behind the top placer by just about 100 pins. In 12th place was Izaac Georgen as he knocked down a total of 1316 pins throughout the tournament. 

 

Kyle Lewis and Korey Reichard were the next two top placers for the Cardinals as they bowled a 1246 and a 1203 which placed them in 34th and 53rd respectively. Patrick Good ended up knocking down 1028 pins. 

 

Webber International ended the tournament winning by 208 pins with a total of 9830. Theron Mitchell from St. Francis (IL) was the top individual finisher as he knocked down 1445 pins. 

 

The Cardinals will be back in action in just under a month as they will compete at the Kegel Collegiate Classic on January 15 and 16.
