Men's Bowling finishes in 14th place at Collegiate Shootout

(Las Vegas, NV) - The Men's Bowling team bowled in their second tournament of the week, while not only staying in Vegas they would compete at the same alley at the South Pointe Hotel & Bowling Center. The team would see a 14th place finish overall at the tournament following 6 individual games and a set of baker games as well. 

 

CARDINALS RESULTS

The top finisher for the Cardinals on the tournament was Brenden Gossman finishing in 26th place as he wound up hitting 1,277 pins over the 6 games. The second finisher was Korey Reichard with 1,55 pins and in 35th place. Jeffrey Lizewski was the final Cardinal to bowl the full 6 games as he finished with a score of 1,195 pins. 

 

David Schaberg ended up bowling 5 games for the Cardinals with 1,054 pins and an average of 210.8 pins. Alexander Bumpus went 4 games while averaging 188 pins, he would hit a total of 752 pins. 

 

Three bowlers would go 1 game apiece as Patrick Good, Jimmy Hunter, and Spencer Mosher would hit 163, 150 and 148 pins respectively. 

 

TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL WINNER

The team champion would wind up being Webber International University as they knocked down 10,050 total pins through the 6 individual games and the baker games. 

 

Also, coming from Webber would be the overall winner as AJ Wolstenholme ended the 6 games with a score of 1,471 pins.

The Cardinals are off until January 14th where they will compete at the Kegal Collegiate Classic at the Stardust Bowl in Addison, Illinois.
