McCarty wins fourth career WHAC Offensive Player of the Week

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced their weekly honors for Player of the Week and Concordia's Hunter McCarty was named Offensive Player of the Week. This is the fourth time McCarty has received the honor, as he won it twice as a freshman and once as a junior.

McCarty, a senior from Lake Orion, Michigan, led the team with 12 combined points between their wins at Lawrence Tech and #10 Siena Heights last week. On top of scoring a hat trick in each game, McCarty was a key distributor for Concordia, tallying a team leading 5 assists. The senior also picked up a pair of ground balls and caused a turnover on the week.

McCarty joins Andrew Simmons and Jeff Harrison as Cardinals that have won WHAC weekly awards this season.

Men's Lacrosse will have a top-10 matchup against #7 Aquinas on Wednesday, April 3rd. The #6 Cardinals will travel to Grand Rapids for a 4:00 PM faceoff.
