Anderson named NCCAA Pitcher of the Week

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced their winners for Student-Athletes of the Week for Softball and Paige Anderson took home the weekly honor following her complete game win on Sunday evening. This is the second time in her career that Anderson has been named NCCAA Pitcher of the Week.

 

Anderson, a junior from Davison, Michigan, threw an eight inning complete game while giving up no earned runs against Dakota Wesleyan. She allowed just 6 baserunners in the win while striking out 7.

 

Anderson is joined by Emilee Underwood and Shannon McAlinden who both won NCCAA weekly awards earlier this season for Concordia.

 

The Cardinals are in the midst of a 13-game road trip down in Florida with the next game scheduled for 8:00 PM against Fisher.
