Week 2 Preview: Football travels to (RV) Olivet Nazarene for MSFA Crossover

Concordia football will play their second game of the year when they travel to Olivet Nazarene this Saturday for an MSFA crossover game. The Cardinals defeated NCAA Division II Kentucky Wesleyan in their first game of the season, surviving a late comeback effort to secure a 17-14 win. Olivet Nazarene lost their season opener in a tight 20-18 defeat against Siena Heights.

Concordia enters the match with the #1-ranked rush defense in the NAIA after holding Kentucky Wesleyan to -17 rushing yards last week. The Cardinals also rank #1 in the MSFA conference in total defense (146.0 YPG) and #1 in the MSFA Mid-East division in rush offense (183.0 YPG). CUAA holds a 3-1 advantage in the all-time series.
