Men's Bowling finishes third at first WHAC Jamboree of Season

(Jackson, MI) - The Concordia Cardinals took on the first Wolverine-Hooser Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament of the season on Saturday and took home a third-place finish. The event featured three team games followed by 16 baker games. 

 

The Cardinals finished third with a total of 5,869 total pins. CUAA earned 16 points toward the regular season championship. 

 

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
Connor Rogus once again topped the leaderboard for CUAA with a total score of 583 and a high game of 237. Next up for the Cardinals was Kenji London, who totaled 541 pins while scoring a 205-high game. Conner Lackey, the final Card to bowl all three games, scored a 532 with a 222-high game. 

 

Kaden Salts bowled in two games with 176 and 148. Nicholas Schaberg, Tyler Koehn, David Schaberg, and Hunter Fletcher all bowled a game apiece for CUAA. They would tally scores of 210, 203, 173, and 150 respectively. 


JV RESULTS

The Cardinals JV team finished the tournament with a fifth-place finish and a pin total of 5,116.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Lawrence Tech took home the top spot of the WHAC Tournament after posting a score of 6,287 pins. 

 

Noah Samuels from LTU also took the top individual spot after posting a score of 677.

The Cardinals head to Wauwatosa, Wisconsin for the Midwest Collegiate Championships on October 5 and 6 for their next event.
