Men's Bowling places 8th at the third WHAC Event

(Sterling Heights, MI) – The Concordia Cardinals Men's Bowling team competed at the third Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) event of the season at the 5 Star Lanes in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The event featured three team games followed by four sets of baker games. 

 

The Cardinals finished the tournament in 8th place with a total of 5541 total pins. 

 

CUAA RESULTS

Connor Rogus was the top Cardinal at the event with a fifth-place finish with a total of 668 pins and recording a high game of 258. Kenji London was next for the Cardinals after tallying a 642 and a high game of 238. Hunter Fletcher and Tyler Koehn were the final two CUAA bowlers to bowl in all three games. Fletcher recorded a 555 while Koehn scored a 524 and they had high games of 220 and 194 respectively. 

 

David Schaberg completed two games and finished with a score of 318 with a 160-high game. David Smalls bowled the final game and scored 162.

 

TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Dylan Holtz from St. Francis (IL) took the top spot for the third WHAC tournament after scoring a 725. 

 

Lawrence Tech finished atop the standings with a score of 6,513.

The Cardinals will be back in action when they travel out to Las Vegas for a pair of tournaments on December 18-19 (Glenn Carlson Invitational) and December 20-21 (Collegiate Shootout).
