(Las Vegas, NV) – Over the past two days, The Concordia Cardinals Men's Bowling team competed in their final tournament of 2024 at the Collegiate Shoot-Out in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event featured the team competing in five games and 16 baker games. The top eight teams would advance to a King of the Hill-style match.
The Cardinals finished the tournament in 17th place as they narrowly missed out on bracket play as they scored 8,192 total pins.
CUAA RESULTS
Conner Lackey was the top Cardinal to place at the tournament with a 47th-place finish out of the 526 bowlers at the tournament. Lackey rounded out the tournament with a 1,059 score throughout the team games and a 266 high game. Kaden Salts was two pins back with a 1,057 score and tallied a 245-high game. Hunter Fletcher was next up for CUAA with a 1,028 score while recording a 223 high.
David Schaberg and Conner Rogus were the final two bowlers to compete as part of the varsity team as Schaberg ended with a 1,006 score, while Rogus tallied a 966 score. Schaberg tallied a 242 high game, while Rogus scored a 224.
JV RESULTS
The Cardinals ended the tournament in fifth place after tallying 7,521 pins.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Wichita State placed first throughout the qualifying stage of the tournament as they posted a score of 9,134 pins.
Webber International took home the top team spot following the Championship match with a 902 score.
Zach Anderson from Mount Mercy was the individual champion as he tallied and recorded a score of 1,232 pins.

The Cardinals will next hit the lanes on January 11 when they compete at the fifth American Heartland Tournament at the Spins Bowl in Waterford Township, Michigan.
