David Schaberg earns first career WHAC Bowler of the Week honor

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced the Player of the Week honors for the week of January 20-26 and Concordia Cardinals Men's Bowler David Schaberg earned his first career honors.

 

Schaberg, a junior from Holt, Michigan, placed second at the Detroit Open over the weekend, which was the final WHAC tournament of the regular season. Schaberg's total pin fall of 717 was aided by his nearly perfect first team game of 298 followed by games of 225 and 194 to average 239 on the day. 

 

Schaberg joins Conner Rogus as the Cardinals who have won WHAC Bowlers of the Week this season with Rogus winning three previous times. 

 

The Cardinals head to the Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 15 and 16 at the Western Bowl.
