Kyla Wedemeier signs with Concordia Volleyball

(Ann Arbor, MI) Head Coach Danielle Cook and the Concordia University volleyball team have announced the addition of Kyla Wedemeier from New Boston, Michigan.

Kyla will join Concordia from St. Mary Catholic Central where she played under the direction of Karen O'Brien. Kyla played as a defensive specialist and libero for St. Mary as well as her club team, Force 18 Select. Wedemeier was a state champion in 2019 and a semifinalist in 2018 with St Mary.

Kyla is the daughter of Crystal and Robert Wedemeier and she has one brother, Ryan. She plans to study Athletic Training while attending Concordia. Kyla's parents are excited for her journey at CUAA. "Kyla has never given up on her dream. She has so much passion for this sport and cannot wait to play with her new team."
