CUAA Volleyball inks Breann June from North Branch

(Ann Arbor, MI) Head Coach Danielle Cook and the Concordia University volleyball team have announced the addition of Breann June from North Branch, Michigan.

Breann will join Concordia from North Branch High School where she played under the direction of Jim Fish. While at North Branch, June was an Outside Hitter for the Broncos and a three-year, three-sport athlete. June received many accolades in her volleyball career including two conference MVP awards, 3rd Team All-State, and several player of the week awards among others.

High School coach Jim Fish highlighted Breann's contribution to the Broncos as a two-time captain. "Breann's work ethic on the court was unsurpassed and her academic achievements illustrated what it means to be recognized as a top-level student athlete. We will miss her in our program, but we are extremely excited to see her contributions to the Concordia volleyball program."

Breann is the daughter of Curt and Deana June, and has two siblings, Dawson and Caiden. Breann plans to study Nursing while attending Concordia. "I have always dreamed of playing college volleyball and when I came on campus I felt at home," said Breann. "I can't wait to see where God leads me as I continue my athletics and academics at CUAA!"

"We are excited for Breann to join the CUAA volleyball family," said head coach Danielle Cook. "Breann is a competitor that will challenge herself and her teammates to get better on and off the court. We look forward to seeing Breann grow as a player and young woman these next four years!"
