Tucker named WHAC and NCCAA Offensive Player of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) and National Christian College Athletic Association announced their weekly awards Monday afternoon and Anthony Tucker (SR/Canton, MI) has been named the offensive player of the week.

Tucker's performances led the Cardinals to a 2-0 record last week. Tucker's golden goal in the 108th minute sealed the win for the Cardinals. Tucker also recorded the first goal for the Cardinals which evened the match early in the first half. Tucker continued his efficient play for the Cardinals recording a hat-trick against Siena Heights. The Cardinals defeated the Saints 3-1.

Tucker is among the WHAC leaders as he is tied for 1st with 11 goals scored and stands alone with 71 shots recorded. He is also second in points with 34.

This is the first time Tucker's illustrious career that he has received this recognition from the WHAC and NCCAA.

The Cardinals will conclude the WHAC regular season this week visiting Lourdes on Wednesday Cardinal Stadium and then on Saturday at Rochester University. Both games are crucial to the conference table which will determine seeding for the WHAC tournament.
