Brooklin Cox signs with Concordia Softball

(Ann Arbor, MI) Head softball coach Hailey Cavanagh and the Concordia softball program have announced the signing of Brooklin Cox from Ravenna, Nebraska.

Brooklin played under Jason Gerhardt at Ravenna High School where she played shortstop for the Blue Jays. Gerhardt had this to say about Cox, "Knowing that Brooklin has committed to furthering her education and playing softball at CUAA is a relief as a coach that I know she will be able to grow as a member of society. I am anxious to watch her development. Concordia is a proven winner in the classroom and throughout their community. This is a perfect match."

"Brooklin is one of the nicest, and most passionate players I've ever met," said Cardinal Head Coach Hailey Cavanagh. "Instantly we knew her love for Concordia, with some unique connections.  Brooklin is going to a versatile defender and will absolutely grow in our program and have a great career! We are excited she is a Cardinal."

Brooklin is the daughter of Mike and Rachel Cox and has two sisters, Alisa and Samantha. Cox plans on majoring in Digital Media Design with a minor in Entrepreneurship while at Concordia.

"College softball has been a dream of mine since I was very young," said Cox. "When I found Concordia, and everything lined up (location, religion, major, coach), I knew it was the school for me."
