(Fort Wayne, IN) – Concordia women's lacrosse traveled to Indiana Tech on Saturday afternoon for another WHAC contest. The Cardinals found themselves up against a strong opponent and fell 17-4.
Peyton Long played a complete game in goal, making 15 saves. Indiana Tech scored the first 2 goals, but the Cardinals got on the board when Taylor Armstrong scored off a feed from Madisyn Fox. Indiana Tech led 4-1 after the 1st.
Tara Drinane added a marker in the 2nd with Taylor Nesbitt drawing the assist. Peyton Long continued to record many saves, but the Warriors led 9-2 at halftime.
Nicole Bordo got on the board with 7 seconds to play in the 3rd, scoring with an assist by Madisyn Fox. Taylor Armstrong tacked on an unassisted powerplay goal in the 4th. Indiana Tech claimed the 17-4 win as time expired.
Concordia will play at Adrian this Monday at 5pm.
