Women's Lacrosse falls at #3 Lawrence Tech
 
 

(Southfield, MI) – Concordia women's lacrosse traveled to Lawrence Tech on Wednesday evening for a WHAC contest.  The Cardinals fought hard but fell 21-4 on the road. 

 

Peyton Long played the 1st quarter in goal, making 4 saves.  After LTU scored the first 3 goals, Savanna Schmidt notched a marker with Madisyn Fox drawing the assist.  Taylor Armstrong added a goal later in the quarter with Isabella Komarowski assisting.  CUAA trailed 11-2 after the 1st. 

Rachel Costello came in to play goal starting in the 2nd, recording 2 saves.  Lawrence Tech maintained their lead and went up 15-2 at halftime. 

 

In the 3rd, Madisyn Fox scored an unassisted goal for the Cardinals.  Fox recorded her second marker in the 4th off an assist by Taylor Nesbitt.  CUAA continued fighting but fell 21-4 as time expired. 

 

Concordia will return home this Saturday to host rival Siena Heights at 1pm.
