Abby Long named NCCAA Second Team All-American

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced the All-American teams for the 2023-24 season following the conclusion of the National Championship earlier this month. 

 

Concordia Cardinals junior Abby Long was named to the Second Team All-American Team.

Long makes her first appearance on the Second Team after transferring into Concordia from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Long averaged 17.7 points per game this season and 4.1 assists a game, leading the Cardinals in both categories. 

 

In the NCCAA this season, Long was 12th in the nation in scoring average with her 17.7 points a game and seventh in total points scored with 531. She would also lead the NCCAA in 3-pointers made this year with 94. Long also cracked the top 10 in assists per game as she would come in at #9 on the year. 

 

Long is the sixth Cardinal in program history to be named to an NCCAA All-American team.
