Hayley Jacobson wins second NCCAA Defensive Player of the Week

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced that Concordia Cardinals Women's Soccer player Hayley Jacobson has won her second Defensive Player of the Week award this week as the Cardinals closed out their season on Saturday. 

 

Jacobson, a senior from Howell, Michigan, posted 24 saves on the week including 15 in the shutout win against Cornerstone. In the close 2-1 loss to Northwestern Ohio, Jacobson recorded nine saves throughout the game.

 

This is the second time this season that Jacobson has taken home the NCCAA Player of the Week honors.
