CSC Academic All District - Women's Soccer

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The College Sport Communicators (CSC) released their 2023 Academic All-District winners and three Cardinals from the Women's Soccer team were named to the All-District team.

 

Danielle Bracken is a senior from Pinkney, MI, studying Exercise Science with a 3.79 GPA

Alexis Russell is a graduate student from Williamston, MI, with a 3.77 GPA.

Kamryn Gerecke is a senior from Hartland, MI studying finance with a 3.70 GPA

 

The 2023 Academic All-District Men's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA — for each gender.

 

College Sport Communicators is a 3,200+ member national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. The organization was previously known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and was changed to its new name in August of 2022.

 

Nominees for the All-District team must have participated in at least 90% of the team's matches or have started in at least 66% of team matches throughout the season while also maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.50.
