Men's Bowling finishes in 13th place at the C300 Western Shootout

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Concordia Cardinals Men's Bowling team traveled to Indiana for their latest meet at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout as the team finished the tournament in 13th place. The team would sit in 11th place following the first day of the tournament before playing in the 16 baker games on Sunday. 

 

CARDINALS RESULTS

The top finisher on the team was Jeffrey Lizewski as he would place 22 with a total of 1,312 pins, he had a high game of 258. The only other Cardinal bowler to go all six games was Alexander Bumpus with 1,183 total pins as he also scored a high game of 245 and finished in 78th place. 

 

Bowling in four games for the Cardinals was Patrick Good Jr. as he averaged 211 pins and had a high game of 244. Dylan Jablonski would also bowl in four games with an average of 189 while bowling a high game of 203. Next on the team was David Schaberg with three games bowled, with an average of 225, with a high score of 268. 

 

Conner Rogus and Spencer Mosher would end up one pin apart with 595 and 594 pins respectively. Rogus' high game was 220, while Mosher scored 244. The final bowler for the team was Conner Lackey with a score of 169 in the sole game he bowled.  

 

TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL WINNER

The top finisher of the tournament in the individual games was Ryan Burton from Purdue University as he averaged over 250 pins per game with a total of 1,511 pins. 

 

Burton would lead Purdue through the baker games once again as they came out on top by finishing 68 pins above second place with 9,895 total pins. 

 

UP NEXT

The team will have this weekend off before competing at the American Heartland Tournament at the Super Bowl in Canton, Michigan on Sunday, October 29.
