WHAC POSTSEASON AWARDS: Several Cardinals named to the WHAC's All-Conference Team

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced on Wednesday morning the postseason awards for Men's Bowling and several Cardinals earned postseason honors. 

 


CONFERENCE AWARDS

Conner Rogus earns the program's second-ever WHAC Newcomer of the Year award after earning the top average in the conference as a freshman or first-year competitor. 

 

 


SECOND TEAM

Rogus, a freshman from Macomb, Michigan, earns a spot on the WHAC All-Conference Second Team following a season where he totaled 3,012 total pins (14 games) at the four WHAC Jamborees this season. Overall, Rogus is averaging 204.55 pins over the 58 games bowled this season.

 

 

David Schaberg, a Sophomore from Holt, Michigan, also earned a spot on the All-Conference team after bowling an average of 212.58 pins as he knocked down 2,551 pins over 12 games. Schaberg is averaging 202.58 pins over his 45 games bowled this season.  

 

 

 


CHAMPION OF CHARACTER

In addition to his previous award, Rogus was also named to the Champions of Character Team. The freshman was honored for his commitment to the five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.

 

 


ALL-ACADEMIC

The WHAC announced their All-Academic teams, which involve being a sophomore in Academic standing and having a cumulative GPA of 3.25. Two Cardinals were named to the team with Jeffrey Lizewski and Patrick Good Jr. being honored.
