Rogus earns his first WHAC Bowler of the Week

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced on Monday afternoon that Concordia Cardinals Connor Rogus won the conference Bowler of the Week award marking the first time he has won it in his young Cardinal career. 

 

Rogus, a freshman from Macomb, Michigan, bowled 15 games over the weekend as he took home a 22nd-place finish at the Glenn Carlson Invitational last week as he would hit a total of 1,776 pins over the 9 games bowled. At the Collegiate Shootout, Rogus had 1,209 pins over six games. He bowled high games of 235 and 246 respectively in those two tournaments. Over the full 15 games, he averaged 199 per game. 

 

The Cardinals will have a few weekends off as they will be back in the new year when they travel to Addison, Illinois for the Kegel Collegiate Classic on January 13 and 14.
