Women's Basketball announces 2021-22 recruiting class

(Ann Arbor, MI) – Head Coach Kiefer Haffey is excited to announce the official 2021-22 Women's Basketball recruiting class commits. The Cardinals are coming off a WHAC Tournament Championship appearance and deep run in the NCCAA National Tournament in Haffey's 4th season under the helm of the program. The coaching staff is extremely excited about the future of these new Cardinals as they look to continue to elevate the program to new heights.

"Our incoming group has a chance to create some special memories here at Concordia. We graduated some tremendous young women from our program, and this incoming class will have a chance to step in and help Concordia Women's Basketball continue to take steps. We have a little bit of everything in this class, some unbelievable guard play - kids who can shoot the heck out of the ball, tremendous passers, and creators. Some gritty players who love to defend, dive on the floor, rebound, and work their tails off. We have some great size and length, increasing the size/length of our roster – something we've been able to use and impose in recent years."

Coach Haffey has announced the signings of 14 student athletes that will join the women's basketball program this fall. Haffey continues to expand his recruiting field with a roster that now includes athletes from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Louisiana.

"It's going to be fun," said Coach Haffey. "We have wonderful young people who want to be part of the program we're building. They want to work hard on court and in the classroom. They're hungry to help continue pushing the brand of Concordia Women's Basketball. There are fun days ahead for this group and we can't wait for them to all be on campus so we can get started."

Additional news and information regarding the women's basketball program will be available in the near future and throughout the summer. Fans are encouraged to connect with the Cardinals on the team's social media pages on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook by following their handle @concordiawbb!
